THE DEATH OF ZENITH is the dark, genre-bending metal project of artist Caleb Straus. Fusing industrial grit, cinematic atmosphere, and narrative-driven songwriting, Straus utilizes a revolving, curated roster to craft a sound as heavy as it is haunting—equal parts chaos and catharsis.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Bad Omens, Slipknot, Scarlxrd, Istasha the Scrub, Nine Inch Nails, Mike Patton, and David Bowie, The Death of Zenith stands at the intersection of modern alt-metal and psychological storytelling. Every track bleeds with emotional intensity, built on pulse-pounding grooves, layered textures, and raw, unfiltered vocal delivery.

Straus is also the creator of the Overnight film and its upcoming literary sequel Umbra—both surreal, psychological horror stories whose characters and themes intertwine directly with his music. Each release expands the mythos, often blurring the lines between concept album, score, and standalone banger.

With a devoted underground following and a multimedia vision unlike anything else in the scene, The Death of Zenith isn’t just a band..
