Elswhere on his moody cover of Above & Beyond's "Sun & Moon" Straus steps behind the mic to transform the House classic into a raging, grungy, melancholic but mighty heavy metal tantrum.  As he prepares, curates, produces, and scores parts of the upcoming "Overnight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" Straus will continue to explore genre-bending heavy music with this new project.  This has just begun!  Stay tuned for new music soon, exclusively on Solunar Records!!

GENRE IS DEAD.  If The Death of Zenith's music could be described in three words, those would be the three. Want more?  Imagine swirling electronic ambiance and cinematic strings melding with brutal melodic death metal, dark trap, trip hop, and various other subgenres that on paper don't make sense, all under the kind of intelligent ferocity found in music by Nine Inch Nails, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Mike Patton's myriad of projects.

The Death of Zenith is the brainchild of producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Straus.  Having operated as the lead singer of industrial metal terrorists EMZY ENZY for years, as well as an experimental solo artist, the purpose of The Death of Zenith is to close the chapters on those two paths by uniting them.  On "Portal", Straus weaves together a horror-induced industrial metal nightmare, outfitted with the attack of the mighty Sam Astaroth on vocals as he growls, croons and screams unholy hell about pushing past pain and living in your own power.
